fall baseball

This week my daddy went to sign me up to play fall baseball. I can't wait to start. I hope practices start soon. Will post more after I get going for a new season.

Indians Game

On my birthday I got to go to a baseball game with Daddy & Grandpa. It was autograph night. The players were set up in pairs at tables around the stadium. I got a whole baseball filled with autographs. I also got a autographed picture of a player that I had seen at the AAA All Star game. He in fact was the MVP of the game.

I also got a ball from the game (my daddy almost caught it, but a nice man caught it and gave it to me) and a blow up bat that I won from guessing my pitching speed.

ballgame with Uncle Craig, Aunt Amber, Amelia & Grandma

I got to go along with Daddy to Uncle Craig & Aunt Amber's house. Uncle Craig, Aunt Amber, Grandma, Amelia, Daddy & I got to go to the ballgame. It is the Single A team for the Cardinals. I liked the play area they had, they had places where I could hit the ball as well as a pitching game. I got to do each one 3 or 4 times. It rained a little, so we did not stay to finish the game. We had a great time!

Daddy bought me a ball and he got himself a baseball signed by Lou Brock at an auction. Uncle Craig also gave me a ball, so I am coming home with 2 balls for me to keep, and one for daddy.

AAA All Star Game

I got to go to the AAA All Star Game on Wednesday evening. Our insurance agent, who goes to our church, called and said he had extra tickets. Daddy, Emily and I went to the game. I liked seeing a Bats player as well as a Redbirds player.

AAA All Star Homerun Derby

Last night my daddy took me to the AAA All Star Homerun Derby. It was cool to see all the homeruns. Many guys hit 2 or 3. I really enjoyed watching Buddy Bat. I even took pictures of him standing on his head. The best part of the night was Buddy Bat gave me a pipping hot Pappa John's pizza. Every game they give 1 out, and I happened to be the one to get it for the Homerun Derby. Wow! Pretty Special.

After that I got to go see my Daddy's softball game. I played catch with a boy who had played on a rival team when I played little league. Daddy won his game. I liked watching him play.

When we got home, after I showered, I got to see the final batter in the Major League Homerun Derby. At least I did not miss the whole thing.

Slugger Batting Cage

I went to the Slugger batting cage when big grandma was here. I got the chance to show daddy how I bat with that awesome Triton bat. I say I want it for my birthday - but I really know I probably will not get it. It does not hurt to ask though :)

Racing

Emily has been into soap box derby racing. I am not old enough to race - until my birthday that is, as you have to be 8 to race. I got to try out her car last weekend when big grandma was here. I liked it - so I will get a car to start on later in July. I will be able to race it in the fall. I can't wait.
